A carol a day: O Holy Night

-

We are repeating last year’s series on Christmas carols. This is an updated version of the article first published on December 22, 2018

MYSELF and my husband celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary today. Indeed, 11 years ago we decided to inconvenience the Christmas holidays of our dear family and friends by getting hitched.

In those 11 years we have been blessed with three beautiful children. As I am sure you will agree, my long-suffering husband is the true hero in all of this.

One of the songs we had at our wedding was O Holy Night. It is in this spirit I offer you a performance by the choir of King’s College, Cambridge, in 2017 as today’s Christmas carol. It is my favourite.
