A GP practice manager’s questions for the Covid Inquiry

I AM a practice manager at a GP surgery. From the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, I was sceptical about the WHO and how they were leading and advising on pandemic handling. I wrote to MPs and mainstream media, but was generally ignored. Working in a GP surgery gives us a window into what is happening healthwise within the communities we serve, so we were always better placed to understand what was going on at ground level.

Many of us don’t want to wait for years for the Covid inquiry to conclude, and will only rest when there is accountability for the injustices served in the name of Covid-19. I have written a submission to the Covid-19 Inquiry setting out my experience. You can see it here.
