IN THE dying embers of the dystopian Covid nightmare, there are still some diehard celebrities who continue to push the vaccination agenda beloved of most Western governments. One such is Neil Young, the ageing rock god and virtuoso guitarist. TCW Defending Freedom has received a letter from Mr Young concerning his request to the streaming service Spotify to ban podcasts by the American commentator Joe Rogan.
My name is Neil Young. You may remember me from my hits such as Harvest, Harvest Moon, and Two-for-One Night at the Calgary Harvester. Although I live in California, I was born in Canada where the great leader Justin Trudeau is implementing the enlightened policies of the World Economic Forum. Some folks say he’s the son of the dictator Fidel Castro but I don’t know about that. All I can say is that, if that’s true, his father would be very proud of the man.
There have been a lot of bad vibes about my denunciation of the Joe Rogan podcasts on Spotify. There is no doubt that he has been promoting anti-vax messages by interviewing expert doctors. His irresponsibility will lead to the deaths of the last remaining survivors of the pandemic. You may know that I told Spotify it was him or me on their platform. They said it was him, which is a bit of a downer. However, I am pleased to read that my old hippie pal, and fellow Canadian, Joni Mitchell has told Spotify to remove her songs too. Soon all they will have left is R Kelly and Gary Glitter.
Some have said I was foolish to speak out. They pilloried me because I once wrote a song called The Needle and the Damage Done. I want to take this opportunity to tell my fans that the song was not about the greed of criminal drug dealing pharmaceutical companies who persuaded governments to push their experimental gene therapies with unknown side effects, but the greed of criminal drug dealing gangs who persuaded a good friend of mine to buy heroin, the effects of which are well known.
Although folks might think it strange for a rock musician to say this, I know a thing or two about drugs, especially those that have not completed clinical trials. Despite what Joe Rogan’s so-called doctors would have you believe about the miracle vaccinations, I do believe I am better informed, and I completely endorse the safe and effective vaccines that have been given emergency authorisation by the FDA.
Some people say that because I released an album entitled Freedom that included my song Keep on Rocking in the Free World I am being a hypocrite. However, you must appreciate that the album was an ironic commentary about those who believed in such things as their right to bodily autonomy.
I have discussed these issues at length with my beautiful wife Daryl Hannah. We have the great relationship similar to that which your Prime Minister has with his wife. There is no truth in the rumour that she encouraged me to write what I did to Spotify.
You might like to buy my new album, Barn.
