LAST week’s post by Andrew Montford on the myth of the declining polar bear population drew a fascinating response from Canadian reader Kateri Muys. Tomorrow, in a special feature for TCW, she reports from the heart of polar bear land in the frozen north of Canada that Andrew is right – they are thriving all too well and are a genuine threat to the locals.
It is a salutary piece of reading for us all, but especially for know-all climate activists and Greta acolytes, to find out exactly how hard it is – even in our modern day and age – just to reach this area, as Kateri has done recently, let alone to assess the inter-relationship and interdependency between man and animal.
Don’t forget to visit TCW tomorrow to read this unique account. You won’t find it elsewhere.
