THE campaign group Together is putting out an urgent ‘call to action’ to stop the rollout of the Covid vaccine to five to 11-year-olds.
Highly questionable persuasive techniques have already been used by national and local health authorities to encourage 12 to 17-year-olds to be injected despite issues over their informed consent and maturity.
Now the Government’s similar ‘offer’ to even younger children, which started on April 4, is going full steam ahead, in the face of the scientific and common sense evidence against it.
How adults are meant to discuss informed consent with children of such tender years defies belief – especially when the youngsters simply do not need the jab and there is no medical Covid emergency from which they must be saved.
By contrast, the risks of serious side-effects from the vaccine are unknown. Sweden has already refused to jab healthy children with the drugs on the basis they provide no benefit. Norway is also not recommending them, and neither is Florida – the first US state to do so. The UK must follow their lead.
Together is asking all of us to email the relevant regulators, which include the Medicines and Health products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA).
In addition, Health Secretary Sajid Javid and Boris Johnson must also be urged by email to halt the rollout. Similar lobbying methods by Together proved successful with vaccine passports and there is no reason why, with sufficient numbers writing, this campaign should not also be a winner.
Together has provided this brief video which gives instructions on how to go ahead with your email.

I am writing following the announcement of the policy ‘offer’ to vaccinate children aged 5-11 with the Covid vaccines.
There is no justifiable case for this. For this cohort, it represents only risk with no possible benefit. Children of this age do not need to be vaccinated against Covid as the disease carries an overall statistically zero risk to them.
There is no long-term safety data attached to these injections. To use them on young children, with so many life years ahead, is medical and policy recklessness. In allowing this to proceed, you are all failing in your duties as regulators and those in charge of public health.
There are already very worrying signals in the short and medium term data (e.g. incidence of myocarditis, particularly in young boys).
We urge you to cease this rollout with immediate effect. Please refer to this series of Open Letters for further details of the concerns raised by many highly qualified healthcare professionals:
Open Letter: To all members of the FDA Vaccines Committee, re: Re: Pfizer Covid-19 mRNA vaccine EUA application for children aged 6 months to 4 years, returning to FDA in April
Open Letter: Open Letter from the Children’s Covid Vaccines Advisory Group (CCVAG) to the JCVI: Pause vaccines for children pending urgent review
Open Letter: Open Letter to the MHRA Regarding Child Death Data
I would like a response to this email please at your earliest convenience.
I would like to take this moment to remind you that you are all public servants and your first professional duty is to the people you represent.
