Dr Roger Hodkinson, who works in Canada, pulls no punches about the over-the-top reaction of officialdom there to the pandemic that echoes what is happening here in Britain.
He says: ‘The bottom line is simply this: There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. It’s outrageous. This is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public.’
He tells why wearing masks and social distancing are useless and concludes about coronavirus: ‘It’s just another bad flu.’
Dr Hodkinson is ex-chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Examination Committee in General Pathology in Ottawa and a former Assistant Professor.
He was speaking last week to health officials working for the government of Canada’s Alberta province, telling them their Covid strategy was all wrong.

Needless to say, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons has seen fit to issue a statement disassociating itself from Dr Hodkinson.
