Labour MPs to abstain in vote on Covid tiers
The passing in Parliament of the Government’s tiered lockdown system has been thrown into doubt as Labour MPs have been told to abstain in today’s vote. A rising number of Conservative Party MPs are also set to reject the proposed measures and have criticised the Prime Minister for refusing to publish any forecast on the impact on the economy of a continued lockdown (in another name) – Telegraph
