Poll suggests half of Britons won’t be meeting relatives indoors over Christmas

The extent to which fear of the coronavirus has been instilled into the populace by the Government, the ‘opposition’ and the media has been revealed by a new poll which finds that many Britons are not planning on meeting relatives over the Christmas period, despite the temporary loosening of restrictions. 45 per cent of correspondents say they are ‘actively scared’ about contracting the disease every time they go outside, and half thought the second England-wide lockdown ‘ended’ too soon — Mail
