Test and Trace callers worked just one per cent of time

£22billion was ‘thrown at’ NHS Test and Trace in a manner that did not allow for proper scrutiny to prevent conflicts of interest and waste, a report by the National Audit Office has found. After 18,000 call handlers were employed in May, their ‘utilisation rates’ were just one per cent, and workers have spoken of how they were effectively being paid to ‘watch Netflix’ with one describing receiving £4,500 without receiving a single call — Telegraph
