Third national lockdown possible after Christmas, says Number 10

The notion that national lockdowns are a thing of the past has been annulled, with Wales and Northern Ireland shutting down their economies again after Christmas, and the Prime Minister’s official spokesman refusing to rule out the possibility of England following suit. Chancellor Rishi Sunak has also extended the furlough scheme until April (read here), adding to speculation that tight restrictions will continue beyond Easter — Telegraph
