Tier Four ‘may not be enough to contain Covid mutations’, says Government committee
Minutes from the Government committee on the ‘new strain’ of the coronavirus suggest that ‘Tier Four’ restrictions may not be able to hold back the spread of the virus, nor further mutations, given that the national lockdown did not hold them at bay. Research within said minutes also highlights that those with the ‘new strain’ do not appear to be more ill than those infected with the previous strain, but are simply more contagious — Telegraph
