Vaccination roll-out plagued by shortages and logistical problems

Britain’s vaccination programme is suffering from numerous logistical problems, particularly regarding the delivery of doses. Birmingham leaders said the city had not been supplied with a single dose of the Oxford vaccine, with supplies of the Pfizer jab due to ‘run out’ on Friday, and in Surrey all appointments that had been made this week for the over-80s Covid vaccinations had to be cancelled due to issues within the supply chain. These represent but two examples of the bumps in the road to vaccinations being successfully delivered – Telegraph
