Care home firm won’t hire staff who refuse Covid vaccinations
Barchester Healthcare, a leading private care home provider, announced that it ‘will not hire someone who has refused to have the vaccine on non-medical grounds’. The provider, which runs more than 200 homes, says it will not sack current staff who refuse the vaccine, but will offer ‘behavioural nudges’ to encourage them to receive it. Around 30 per cent of staff at Barchester Healthcare have not had the vaccine — Telegraph
