Jabs delayed for under-50s for a month
The vaccine rollout faces its first major setback in the form of a four-week fall in supply – though there is confusion over the source of the shortage. A leaked letter from the NHS suggested that the service is expecting a ‘significant reduction’ in supply for four weeks from March 29. The letter said vaccination centres have been told to close unfilled bookings from the end of this month, with the ‘constraint’ expected to last throughout April.
