More than 810,000 UK workers have lost jobs since start of pandemic

More than 813,000 workers have lost their jobs since the start of the Covid crisis, it emerged today. The number of UK workers on payrolls dropped by 56,000 last month and has fallen by 813,000 since March 2020 due to the impact of Covid and lockdowns, according to the Office for National Statistics – Mail
