Boris: ‘Possibility’ that lockdown could be extended past July 19th
It was a surprise to nobody that Boris Johnson announced a four-week extension to lockdown last night. What has received less attention was the Prime Minister’s confession that there is a ‘possibility’ lockdown could continue past July 19th if ‘there is some new variant that is far more dangerous – that kills people in a way that we currently cannot foresee or understand.
