Not-so ‘Freedom Day’

Boris Johnson has announced that lockdown restrictions will be eased on July 19th. But people are to be ‘expected and recommended’ to continue wearing face masks, with businesses permitted to demand mask-wearing as a condition of entry. Large indoor venues will also be urged to introduce vaccine passports. And the rules which have been scrapped will be reviewed again in September (so could, at this point, be reintroduced) – Mail
