Green light for no-fault ‘quickie’ divorces
After placing families under immense strain during the lockdown, and when the bonds of marriage are needed more than ever, the Conservative government is to make ‘no-fault’ divorces legal from as early as next month. Among other changes, this reform will allow a partner to instigate divorce proceedings and to start a 20-week ‘reflection period’ without their spouse’s knowledge – Telegraph
