Government set to opt out of human rights laws

As the row over Britain’s Internal Market Bill continues to sour relations between Britain and the EU, the government has announced it is preparing to opt out of major parts of European human rights laws. The move appears to be a continuation of the government’s attempt to force the EU to realise ‘what is at stake’ with a no-deal Brexit, as an incentive to back down on key issues – Sunday Telegraph
