I TRY to ignore Anna Soubry MP because she is very irritating. But her relentless attack on Brexit is sickening.
Some Remainers, and Anna Soubry in particular, have come up with a new trick of counting non-votes as their own. In a tweet she said: ‘Remember 63 per cent of eligible voters did NOT vote for us to #Leave the #EU.’ You see what she did there? She gathered all the non-votes of eligible voters to the Remain side. Do you know who else counts non-votes as votes for their side? Dictators.
Utter rubbish. Remember 63% of eligible voters did NOT vote for us to #Leave the #EU https://t.co/svWnp5oKPH

So let’s just say it again for the slow ones at the back. In a democracy only the votes cast count. It is not so much one person one vote, as one vote is one vote.
Still, you have to admire the neck on Anna Soubry at playing this game. Twitter tells me only 33 per cent of her constituency voted for her. So remember that 67 per cent of eligible voters did NOT vote for her. Oh, and 0 per cent voted for her as a representative of the non-political party The Independent Group. That’s democracy for you, Remainer style.
