Dear disgusting Democrats, this is going to be my last blog on Kavanaugh, for the readers’ sake and mine. However, I think it is necessary to point out just why you went for Kavanaugh in this way and why he defeated you.
There were a lot of sickening ironies in this saga, but the biggest was certainly the party of Clinton and Kennedy giving us all lectures on the wrongness of sexual misconduct. The second was how the party of the cultural Left, who have sexualised society for forty years and done most to destroy decent behaviour between men and women, were grabbing their smelling salts over teenage groping. That was definitely a pass-the-bucket moment. (For the record, I don’t believe the incident ever happened, but even if it did it was not relevant.)
Why the Democrats and their media enablers hated Kavanaugh was clear. Here was a man of integrity, good character and decency who had worked incredibly hard to put himself in a position to be nominated for the Supreme Court. He was also white, well-educated and excelled at Yale. For this hard work and brilliance he was denounced as ‘privileged’. Societies previously praised brilliant hard workers – now they dismiss them and try to shame them. It’s a sickness.
As the Democrats homed in on Kavanaugh they tried their last card: they attempted to #MeToo him. For the last 12 months men, mostly on the political and cultural Left, have been exposed as sexual predators and harassers. What if we could do the same to Kavanaugh? The only problem is, Kavanaugh was not on the political or cultural Left so the Democrats chose the wrong guy.
Kavanaugh had to prove that his teenage self, not the man in his mid-50s, was worthy for this office. With a charge of ‘sexual misconduct’ against him from when he was about 17 his entire early adult life was up for scrutiny. If he were a Leftist, he would have been dead in the water. But not Kavanaugh. He had to admit on Fox TV that he was a virgin in high school and well into college. He was a Catholic attending mass weekly, and took the virtue of chastity seriously. This was during the 80s, exactly the time when the Left was hyper-sexualising the culture, pushing more and more sex education into the schools at a younger and younger age while removing any reference to God. As Kavanaugh was in a private all-boys Jesuit school he was saved from much of this. This further enraged the Left.
The creepy porn lawyer and his allegation of gang rape complicated things. Was Kavanaugh the frustrated Catholic virgin who acted out one night or the heavy-drinking frat boy who abused women? They couldn’t pick a lane.
But Kavanaugh stood firm; this sporty, hard-working, super-smart Catholic nerd who abided by chastity in early adult life had inner steel. He said in the hearing he was both shy and inwardly proud about not taking part in sexual activity at the time, cultivating friendships with girls and boys instead. I have no doubt that many on the Left don’t believe Kavanaugh on this because they just don’t know any men like him. But they do exist and I grew up with a lot of them.
When Kavanaugh became a successful lawyer and judge he hired female clerks and guided their careers. Again he did this for a reason that the Left cannot understand: to help women succeed professionally and ask nothing in return. Kavanaugh didn’t harass them, he didn’t expose himself, he didn’t walk around in his dressing gown. He treated the women with dignity and respect, two virtues the Left know little about.
Indeed, I have no doubt there is a lot of projection going on here. The Democrats and cultural Left have a very bad record when it comes to their treatment of women. Even Rose McGowan, instigator of #MeToo, points this out.
The Times reported: ‘The film industry McGowan describes is a “disgusting” world untouched by feminism, where actresses are routinely degraded and exploited. Donald Trump supporters may be wrong about everything else, she says, “but they hate Hollywood for being faux liberals — and they’re 100 per cent right about that. It’s a bunch of faux liberals. It’s crap, and they know it is deep down, but they’re living an empty life, and to me that’s their punishment. They get to live the lives they live”.’
The Left came up with much of this stuff, the attempted rape, the exposing of the penis and the disgusting gang rape, because this is the kind of the stuff the Left deal in; they watch it on TV from morning to night, create stories about it or personally dabble in it in one form or the other. This is what they do, so they presumed they could get Kavanaugh on it too. Something, anything, would stick. They could never build themselves up to being something like Kavanaugh because that is too hard, but it should be easy to pull this man down and destroy his life.
But nothing would stick because Brett Kavanaugh is the kind of man they can never be. Hard-working, a loyal father and husband, a brilliant lawyer; a mentor to women asking nothing in return, a decent, kind man of virtue (note: Middle English vertu, virtu, from Anglo-French, from Latin virtus strength, manliness, virtue, from vir, man). This is why Lindsey Graham was so enraged by what was going on. He could see what was happening, this ‘unethical shame’ and his righteous fury was spot-on.
Brett Kavanaugh is a case study in masculine virtue and therefore everything the cowardly, Leftist male is not. In their hearts they know this and it must cut to the bone. The Democrats thought they could humiliate him and shame him out of what was rightfully his. Kavanaugh fought back with courage and bravery, and won.
