Dolan’s Digest: Is a Trump victory part of the left’s cunning plan?

-

IN recent days Donald Trump has been the subject of a court case in New York where, it is alleged, he falsified business filings in an attempt to cover up hush-money payments.

This case is the latest in a catalogue of politically motivated legal proceedings which will see Trump face another three trials.

The prospect of the former President and current Republican front-runner facing such time out of campaigning during an election year poses not just a grave threat to the legitimacy of the election but also a potentially democracy-altering phase for the United States.

Since Trump re-emerged as the only candidate for the Republican nomination ahead of the upcoming Presidential election, the Establishment has been willing to throw myriad accusations his way, in different courts and for different supposed ‘crimes’.

This poses the question, are the left brighter than we think? Possibly not but it is evident now that they are far more cunning than we could have imagined. The 91 charges span different courts, federal districts and states – with accusations including fraud, obstruction of justice, defamation and hush money payments.

These are not run-of-the-mill cases either; they are serious accusations, with serious consequences, but ultimately add up to a political charade of the Democrat establishment’s making.

A certain irony remains, that should these trials against a political opponent be taking place anywhere else in the world, the US would be the first nation to condemn it. So, where does America go from here?

There are two distinct outcomes from these politically motivated trials, which will be viewed with equal intensity on both sides of the Atlantic.

Firstly, that the Democrat establishment’s legal cases are a success. In the event that they have covered all bases, Trump would not be able, in theory, to run as the Republican nominee as President. This would also likely come with a severe custodial and financial sentence. Being forced to withdraw from the race to the White House would inevitably embolden Republican support, as he is the overwhelming candidate of choice among voters. Whilst civil war would be a long way off, the division this would cause would no doubt lead to disruption the like of which the US has not seen since 1861.

Secondly, that should Trump beat the allegations levelled at him by the establishment, he will be the overwhelming favourite to return to the White House. Perhaps, this is what the Dems are after. Let me explain . . .

The economy has been artificially held up by the Fed for months, with Biden’s policies unable to stimulate growth or keep Americans in employment. It can be expected that should Trump be re-elected, the Fed will single-handedly remove that support and the economic woes of the US, which have been years in the making, will be blamed on Donald Trump.

Alongside this, increasing tensions in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and East Asia will undoubtedly come to a head in the next few years. It will again be at the door of Trump to deal with the unenviable and perhaps impossible task of fixing it.

Trump then is quite deliberately being handed perhaps the greatest poison chalice since Macbeth. The turmoil which will probably ensue should he win would almost guarantee the Dems a huge win in 2028. Maybe that is the end game?
