‘First do no harm’ – unless, of course, it’s an mRNA jab

THE major mouthpiece of Covid-19 orthodoxy, regularly referred to in these pages, Medscape continues to push the mRNA vaccine line describing a ‘positive future’ for this technology in the field of cancer vaccines and for infections other than Covid-19. In an article outlining the challenges in developing mRNA vaccines such as the stability of the mRNA and its susceptibility to being broken down by the immune system, Medscape points to the possibility of ‘self-amplifying mRNA vaccines’ which would require less mRNA to be injected into the body as the injection contains ‘a special mRNA that replicates itself in the cell’ giving hope ‘for an efficient and safe preventive and therapeutic use’.

Clearly, these people have learned nothing from the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines: perhaps they simply don’t care. But, from the same organ, amidst sensational language about the lethality of Covid-19, comes the claim from the United States that ‘half as many people received the updated covid booster as those who got the flu shot’. They add, although evidence does not support it ‘even though COVID is twice as deadly as influenza.’ If the claims about the numbers seeking Covid-19 boosters versus flu shots is true, it seems that the public may already have made its own mind up about mRNA vaccines.

Vaccine technology using mRNA was first mooted in the 1960s, made possible in the 1970s but the first experimental mRNA based vaccines were not tested until the late 1990s (flu) and early 2000s (rabies). Neither of these vaccines got past the experimental stage; mRNA is not used in current flu vaccines and no rabies mRNA vaccine has been approved.

However, being in the ‘experimental stage’ did not prevent the worldwide distribution and administration of mRNA Covid-19 vaccines, over 13billion of them. We were told that they were harmless and effective. Specific concerns such as incorporation of foreign genetic material into human genes was dismissed and assurances were given that the mRNA and the spike protein they make would be short-lived, and their effects confined to the site of injection.

These assurances seem hollow now, given the theoretical pathways whereby mRNA from Covid-19 vaccines could become integrated into the genome and actual evidence that it has. Moreover, the spike proteins created by the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines, which are what triggers the immune system to create Covid-19 antibodies, are far from short lived with estimates that they persist long after vaccination, perhaps for several weeks.

Spike protein persisting and being widespread in the body is potentially disastrous. Being foreign protein, it will induce immune responses wherever it becomes lodged, including in the heart, the kidneys and the lungs leading to inflammation and symptoms, for example, myocarditis and pericarditis, which can be fatal. The method of administration, intramuscular injection, may well lead to Covid-19 mRNA vaccine entering the bloodstream. It is no longer recommended, as it once was, to draw these back after puncturing the skin to check if the needle has entered a blood vessel. It is rare for a blood vessel to be entered but with over 13billion administrations the absolute number of undetected mistakes is likely to be large. This is probably how the Covid-19 spike protein enters the blood, persist and spread.

In these pages, it was recently asked if anyone could halt the mRNA juggernaut. A distinguished medic, Professor Angus Dalgleish, has called for a ban on mRNA vaccines based on his observations of increased cancer diagnoses and the changing nature of cancer since their introduction. It did seem, perhaps, that then tide was turning against mRNA vaccines with major pharmaceutical companies abandoning the technology, as explained by microbiologist Dr David Livermore. Nevertheless, governments seem wedded to continued investment in this failed technology. We can only speculate as to why.

There are mixed messages on the future of mRNA vaccines which have proved to be so disastrous for so many people, causing illness, injury and even death after their massive rollout during the so-called Covid-19 pandemic. Never has so much damage been done by something that did not work to so many people who did not need it in the first place. Congratulations to Big Pharma and their willing associates across the world in nearly every government.
