YESTERDAY I commented on the case of Jack Shepherd in the Daily Mail.

Shepherd was convicted of the manslaughter of Charlotte Brown and sentenced to six years in jail, but absconded during the trial. He is still in hiding. Despite this, he has been granted legal aid to appeal against his conviction.

I explain here how this makes a mockery of the law.
