FRAU Clare Foges is in great form in today’s Times, giving us a taste of what is in store for ‘vaccine refuseniks’ should we refuse to comply with Führer Johnson’s order to be vaccinated with an experimental non-vaccine ‘vaccine’ against the very bad flu known as Covid-19. I suspect the entire piece read better in its original German before the Times editors ordered a translation.
Anyway, Frau Foges is not happy that some people are willing to ‘free-ride their way out of this pandemic on the backs of the jab-taking majority’. See what she has done there – if we don’t submit, it’s our fault if you all stay locked down for ever.
Never mind that we opposed the inhumane, degrading and cruel regime of fascist laws in the first place. In a blink of an eye ‘three weeks to flatten the curve’ has somehow turned into one year of lockdown ‘until the vaccine comes’, and the constant threat of lockdown unless you submit to your experimental vaccine. I don’t remember that being part of the deal. But who cares? Frau Foges certainly does not.
Don’t worry, though, it is not as if Frau Foges is proposing ‘strapping antivaxers to gurneys while some Nurse Ratched character wields a syringe’. She is against that, although I suspect that deep down, deep deep down, Frau Foges owns a Nurse Ratched uniform and secretly would love to get a-strappin’ and a-jabbin’ on those antivaxers.
No, the full yellow star treatment is proposed for the non-submitting because, according to Frau Foges, ‘being forced to do something and being excluded from opportunities for pleasure are very different things’.
Now you understand that in fact there was no system of segregation in the Deep South. Blacks weren’t forced to do anything: they were simply excluded from sitting at the front of the bus, excluded from drinking from the water fountain for the clean white people, and excluded from various jobs reserved for white people. So it will be for those who don’t take the vaccine: you will just be stripped of your civil liberties, and ‘refused entry to various shops, sporting events, music concerts and hospitality venues’.
Like I said, I suspect this piece in the original German packed even more of a punch.
Frau Foges is a bit upset that ministers had once given the game away by calling vaccination certificates ‘discriminatory’. This is because they are discriminatory and a breach of privacy. But Frau Foges says they wouldn’t be discriminatory: the system would only stop people exercising their liberties and going places. Surely, dear reader, you see the discrimination, I mean the distinction?
Anyway, as usual with those who go full fascist, the allegation soon comes that those who just want to go about their business without being compelled to take an experimental vaccine are the selfish ones. Those who want this State interference with bodily integrity and privacy are the good guys.
Because there is nothing selfish at all about defending and promoting a system that has locked up the healthy population for nearly a year, forced people to wear pointless masks, and now makes returning their liberty dependent on their taking and disclosing the fact that they have had the experimental vaccine. As I have said before, it is a bit like when the abusive husband shouts at his humiliated wife that she is the selfish one for wanting to go out and see her friends: How could you do this to me? You made me do it!
It has been interesting to see many so-called conservative commentators protect and promote the mad, fascist policies of the dear leader. And just for clarity, when I refer to the policies as fascist, I am not saying Führer Johnson is anti-Semitic or racist. They are not fascist as in anti-Semitic or racist in their aim, but they are fascist in their tactics.
The State’s campaign of terror to keep the law-abiding population under house arrest, the abuse of power by the police, the campaign of persecution that is starting against those who will not be vaccinated which will turn into a system of discrimination and apartheid, are fascist tactics.
Frau Foges and the rest of them want the non-vaccinated separated from the vaccinated. The non-vaccinated are the unclean just like the blacks and Jews of old were unclean. The tactics and rhetoric are the same.
So I expect many conservative commentators will continue goose-stepping their way through the Reichsleiter Conservative press. Perhaps we should keep a list, and award Most Fascist to the most extreme version. Because they will get more extreme. You can take that to the bank.
