It is funny and accurate, but when you think about the influence that Hollywood has, your laughter should turn to bitter tears.
It is a depressing fact of life that Hollywood shapes the culture for many. This is why I am more interested in cultural issues than politics as politicians follow culture, not the other way around.
It is only once in a generation that politicians such as Churchill, Reagan, Thatcher, and I am willing to say JFK if he’d had the chance, do not follow the culture but do what it is right instead.
So really, there is little point in millionaires or others spending all their cash dragging the latest useless politicians over the line every few years. Instead they should be funding conservative filmmakers and documentary makers, and artists of every hue. That is where the true battle is.
