Since we launched The Conservative Woman nearly five years ago, we have made a significant impact on the political scene, offering a unique brand of social conservatism.
We say what many others are thinking. We challenge the increasingly dominant feminist orthodoxy that is poisoning relations between the sexes and damaging the mother and child bond. We recognise the importance of the Judeo-Christian foundations of western civilisation. Our dedicated writers offer researched, critical analysis of the key issues of the day such as Brexit, the Conservative party, the anti-Semitism crisis in the Labour party, and many cultural and economic issues, linking also to the best American commentary. We continue to offer our opinions on TV and radio.
We believe we matter, and many of you have written to express your appreciation. We have made significant headway: in the last year our readership has more than doubled, and on the current trajectory it should double again over the next year.
Crucially, as we are not dominated by a single large donor, we have complete freedom to be true to our principles and stance. However, the flipside is that meeting our essential costs and balancing our books at the end of each month, despite a high input of voluntary effort and dedicated work beyond the call of duty (our writing and editorial team is completely voluntary), is a real challenge.
We are enormously grateful to those of you who have donated and those already who make monthly subscriptions, but to ensure another five years we need more financial support. If just ten people could give £50 a month, or twenty people £25, or 50 people give £10 a month, it would make more than a difference. We are grateful for even a pound a month.
If you enjoy and value what we do, and haven’t yet hit that ‘donate button’, please think about doing that now.
Editors’ note: In response to the comments below we’d like to confirm that we incur no office expenses. TCW has a registered company address, not an office.
