NOT being a multi-staffed media organisation, it is impossible for us to report and comment on all the news we would like to: the stories that the MSM does have the resources to cover properly but chooses to ignore, or to deny when they do. That’s why we run this Saturday column – exploiting the energy and awareness of the veritable army of unpaid ‘reader researchers’ who keep us informed!

A Big Brother Watch investigation has revealed that secretive government disinformation units have been spying on political dissenters and suppressing them online. This hardly came as a surprise to us here at TCW; we never believed that the complaint against us to the BBFC that shut down access to our site via your mobile phone for four months (and the comment section for a further two months) was ‘organic’. We had reason to believe from the start it was Whitehall-instigated.
We are however amused to see that, in the way of all such Stalinist outfits, the Government have also targeted those who did much to help them with/ defend their egregious, conditional, arm-twisting, vaccine exit to lockdown policy. You can study the names yourselves.
We at TCW have been too busy with Event organisation to submit our case file yet! We’ll report when we find out whether we were cited as a threat to the State or not – my guess is that we won’r find our name on the list. Read what James Delingpole has to say in these pages on the topic tomorrow.

Gavi’s $1.4billion vax refund fight
At last hubris and venality is coming home to roost.Dwindling demand for Covid-19 vaccines worldwide and huge prepayments to manufacturers have left Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance in a $1.4billion pickle, the New York Times reports.
Yes, as part of the grand CEPI vaccine marketing plan to secure third world sales Gavi bought up billions of dollars-worth of Covid jabs for the Covax vaccination, ready to push on to low- and middle-income countries, countries that were better off without them and that didn’t need them. As the oversupply of vaccines became clear, Gavi tried to cancel orders and is fighting to get $1.4billion in advance payments back from some of the manufacturers.
The devils in this deal are left fighting it out for once. But now for the bad news:
As the Pfizer vaccine bonanza slowed Bill Gates sold early and made huge profits

Decent teachers (and the rest of us) should note this
No one is powerless – you don’t have to belong to a striking union that has no compunction about damaging children and removing their right to education. High time we took a leaf out of this US book and started to help teachers quit their union on this side of the Atlantic.

And to finish, one for the greens to put in their pipe and smoke
