NOT being a multi-staffed media organisation, it is impossible for us to report and comment on all the news we would like to: the stories that the MSM does have the resources to cover properly but chooses to ignore, or to deny when they do. That’s why we have begun this Saturday column – exploiting the energy and awareness of the veritable army of unpaid ‘reader researchers’ who keep us informed!

HAVING agitated for, promoted and made billions out of Covid vaccines, Gates announces, as cool as a cucumber, that ‘the current vaccines are not infection-blocking. They’re not broad, so when new variants come up you lose protection, and they have very short duration, particularly in the people who matter, which are old people.’ As if we didn’t know.
Speaking at Australia’s Lowy Institute’s ‘Preparing for Global Challenges: In Conversation with Bill Gates’ event, he opined that ‘we’ need to fix these three problems of Covid vaccines.
What good timing – just as health authorities round the world are withdrawing the disastrous booster in part or across the board. The mainstream media can’t ignore for much longer the devastation these so-called vaccines is wreaking, not least on the age groups that never needed the jabs in the first place. You can read the Children’s Health Defense report of this event here.
So now Gates has admitted the vaccines are pointless, when can we expect him to fess up to their proven dangers? What about those high safety standards he boasted about? No problem for a man with no shame who’s conned the world into believing that he is a philanthropist. How many more young lives is he prepared to sacrifice on his megalomaniac vaccine altar? Examination of his previous vaccine ‘trials’ (or experiments) indicates that he simply doesn’t care.

HS2 – the most expensive white elephant ever?
MORE HS2 shambles after years of throwing good money after bad. The Sun reports: ‘Blighted by soaring inflation, HS2 bosses are weighing up a scaling back of the project.’ That includes delaying its Euston terminus to 2038 or scrapping it altogether. Meaning it won’t even arrive in central London.
What is the point? How stupid are politicians? How pig-headed are civil servants? Blind, apparently, to the billions already wasted – the cost of HS2 phase one alone is likely to be more than £60billion. This ghastly haemorrhaging of taxpayers’ money should have been stopped years ago and must stop now.
Chancellor Jeremy Hunt later said he did not ‘see any conceivable circumstances’ why the line would ‘not end up at Euston’.

Elon Musk on his Covid booster jab injuries
IT SEEMS terrible to report bad news as good news, but this has to be the case with Elon Musk’s declaration about the major side effects from his second booster shot. You can read a dispassionate account here.
Horrible for him but good for those of us trying to persuade the health authorities to halt the programme altogether – the MSM cannot ignore (or find it harder) the story when it’s someone rich and famous.

AS LOCAL authorities prepare to hike our council tax rates yet again, we thought readers would like to know how one county is spending their hard-earned money. The luminaries of Devon believe it is facing a full-scale climate emergency. They’ve been all hands on deck to hold the waves back or stop Exmoor burning to cinders – I am not sure which. The first page of the expensively presented ‘Devon Carbon Plan’ was enough to drive a sane man wild.

IT IS true that the sins of the fathers should not be visited on their children (Ezekiel 18). But what of those children who don’t appear to have learnt from them? Rodney Atkinson, in his Free Nations Newsletter, noted that among those attending this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos were Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and avid supporter of the Ukrainian State, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and of course WEF founder Klaus Schwab, who each have fathers or grandfathers who were leading Nazis.
As Atkinson points out, the basis of Nazism and fascism is corporatism – ‘that democracy-bypassing, unholy alliance between right-wing big business and left-wing socialism, both sustained by and exploiting the totalitarian State’. And where is the biggest parade of that combination today? In Davos.

Electricity rationing is coming
GERMAN electricity is to be rationed as EVs and heat pumps threaten the collapse of city power grids, Net Zero Watch reports. Don’t think this can’t happen here. It is an integral part of the Green agenda and it is already happening here in a nudge campaign persuading people to use less electricity in cold weather, just when the poorest need it most to keep warm. Don’t believe me? It is reported here in all but name.

The Net Zero cargo ship that transports . . . coal
THIS report in the Australian Spectator on the (no doubt hugely expensive) experimental ‘sail’ ship that picked up 90,000 tons of coal from Australia bound for Japan is one more testament to the insanity and hypocrisy of the ‘green’ renewables imposition on energy policy.
I note it is not made of wood and does not have ‘sails’ – just one glass fibre structure ‘stuck on the front like the crest of a cockatoo’ (forget canvas!) Carbon heavy would be my guess, looking at the tons of steel.

More safety fears over vaccinated airline pilots
ANYONE who has followed the multiple concerns raised about vaccinated pilots’ damaged health – you can find our reports here – will be alarmed to read of the decision by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to alter an electrocardiogram test limit for pilots. The Epoch Times says: ‘The FAA’s change involving “the PR interval” is significant. The PR interval represents the time it takes for an electrical impulse to travel from one part of the heart to another. It is an indicator of heart health. But “the new normal” PR interval that the FAA set for pilots is 50 per cent longer than the previous limit; it deviates from a long-accepted limit in cardiology. Critics fear that expanding the limit could endanger pilots’ health and passengers’ safety.’

The hypocrisy of Airmiles Nicola
IF YOU missed this gem on GB News last week, you’ll probably not be surprised to hear that ‘Wee Hypo-Krankie’, as one of TCW’s readers has correctly labelled her, has clocked up enough air miles to travel into space. Another case of one rule for our ‘totally impervious to criticism’ politicians and another for the rest of us.

KATHY Gyngell, TCW’s Editor, has been allowed back on Twitter after a six-month suspension – they say it is ‘part of their reinstatement program’. If you don’t already follow her you can do so here, where there are lots of heartwarming ‘welcome backs’ from her fellow tweeters. She says thank you to them all.
