So … people can freely walk into this country assisted by criminal gangs. Unopposed. People can trash statues and deface monuments. Unopposed.
Now this! I use the M25 regularly to visit family. People use it to go about their work, and those en route to hospital in an ambulance are held up, like the woman who was in early stages of a stroke – and ended up going into a full-blown stroke as a result.
ALSO UNOPPOSED.
The police are making arrests but …
a) Not quickly enough. (They are chatting to these morons and asking them if they’re OK and instead dragging away irate drivers as if THEY are the criminals!)
b) Aforementioned morons return the next day!
What next, the police serving them tea and buns? What IS going on? People can be arrested and locked up because they hurt somebody’s feelings on Twitter, but these lunatics can block the highway with no fear of legal retribution!
How long do we have to put up with having our lives disrupted by in-your-face lawbreakers before something is done?
I know there are plans to bring in new laws about protesting, but it seems peaceful protests like the one about women’s safety after Sarah Everard’s murder are not OK and heavily handled by police. Meanwhile, maniacs disrupting and endangering people’s lives on a major arterial motorway have free rein to do as they please.
They need dragging into vans, arresting and LOCKING UP pending a court hearing. There should be an INSTANT two-year prison sentence. No argument!
And Priti Patel has given the go ahead for two more years of the terminally useless Metropolitan Police chief Cressida Dick! Really? Astonishing!
This is NOT a government of law and order. It’s a government of anarchy and do-as-you-please for criminals; it is hell-bent on ‘greening’ the country whilst allowing idiots to help create more ‘carbon footprint’ by holding up decent citizens going about their daily business, and allowing them to endanger lives by stopping ambulances showing a blue light! Staggering incompetence!
Ironically, this government’s ‘green agenda’ to wreck the landscape with pointless vanity projects like HS2 and the unbelievable hiking up of energy costs and forcing people into fuel poverty is doing the bidding of these maniacs. Not all homes can be insulated and years ago there was a government scheme for lagging lofts anyway. Do these idiots not realise this?
You really couldn’t make this up. It’s absurd. I feel like we are living in a parallel universe. The lunatics are RUNNING the asylum.
