Is German crackdown on ‘far-right plotters’ a blueprint for tyranny everywhere?

AS many readers will be aware, Germany has in the last few days instigated a massive wave of arrests to forestall the somewhat bumbling attempt of a group of conservative fantasists (the so-called Reichsburger movement) to impose, by armed insurrection, a return to the pre-Bismarckian past upon the woefully corrupt globalist government and its hapless citizens.

I will not discuss the merits or demerits of the Reichsburger scheme which, of its nature, must fall foul of the all-pervading and growing cancer of the Great Reset, with its loathing of any and all nation-state loyalties, sympathies and aspirations.

Not the least thought-provoking aspect of this curious sequence of events is the timing. The war in Ukraine has clearly faded from the forefront of public consciousness, if it was ever there to start with, so the ‘problem’ for Western governments now is how to arrive at the totalitarian China-style goals of the Great Reset, as implied by their all but universal subscription to Agenda 2030 and the clearly-stated goals of the WEF.

In the absence of armed resistance by their captive citizens to the emergence of this profoundly evil agenda, it is necessary to create those conditions by the manufacture of a carefully-nurtured public perception of a threat. That Covid was used by governments as a test run for the imposition of digital ID, behind the smokescreen of the ‘vaccine passport’, is beyond reasonable doubt.

But now that public fear and compliance with the Covid narrative have faded, it will be increasingly difficult to reimpose. So what is a government to do, which has in effect sold itself and its hapless citizens to a toxic combination of the dreadful WEF and its totalitarian Chinese allies? One answer is to generate the necessary fear and compliance by that ultimate affront to the easily alarmed sensibilities of so-called liberal democracies and their entitled citizens: A ‘far-right coup’.

By its own admission, the German government has known about this ‘threat’ for at least a year. During this time, it will doubtless have infiltrated the Reichsburger group and poured petrol on its nascent ambitions by proposing increasingly violent schemes to ‘save Germany’.

And here we arrive at what is, I believe, the true danger to the UK of the Reichsburger ‘attempted coup’. The alleged conspiracy has tentacles which reach out to Austria and Italy, where similar arrests have been made. Italy and Austria both have increasingly nationalist governments which are anathema to the Germans, who desperately want them removed because of their obstructive resistance to the swamping of their countries by illegal immigrants from hostile and incompatible cultures.

Readers will recall how the UK government first tried to ram vaccine passports through Parliament, then denied that the scheme was going ahead. This was, and is, a lie.

How long will it be, do you suppose, before a carefully manufactured ‘far-right threat’ suddenly appears in the UK in the wake of the Reichsburger revelations? A threat enthusiastically  fanned by an increasingly strident and hysterical BBC and media? A threat that requires the imposition of digital ID (vaccine passports), as others have throughout Europe?

And all, they’ll tell us, to ‘keep us safe’!
