OUR thanks to a reader commenting yesterday on Nigel Farage’s Birmingham speech, who drew our attention to the interview with Jordan Peterson by Helen Lewis, former associate editor of the New Statesman.
It is an interview that I missed at the time. Lewis tries where Cathy Newman failed to pull apart – indeed attack – Peterson’s critique of feminist theory. Instead he debunks her ‘foolish theory’ that Western society was/is a tyrannical patriarchy, lays bare her false assumptions and sets out some contrary truths. He turns the tables on her and questions her – revealing her self-delusions – and catches her out other logic.
It is more than worth watching. Jordan Peterson, an increasingly necessary tonic in a world ever more oppressed by feminist myths, is on terrific form.
