Addressing the Cambridge Union earlier this month, Jordan Peterson described the global warming obsession as ‘just the kind of low-resolution thinking that gets us absolutely nowhere’.
Replying to a student who had suggested that forthcoming UN climate negotiations could be something that Left and Right would unite around, Peterson said:
‘Well, what are we going to do? Are you going to stop having heat? You’re going to stop having electricity? You’re going to stop driving your cars? You’re going to stop taking trains? You’re going to stop using your iPhones? You’re not going to do any of that, and no wonder.’
Peterson has in the past said that STEM subjects have avoided the post-modernism plaguing college campuses. If one can call climate science a real science, it is now clear that it, too, has been infected.
