Juncker’s Clunckers and the Funky Maybot

-

One bright spot in a depressing week came from our commenter ‘fred finger’ who directed us to this latest parody of the 2004 film Downfall (Warning: Obscene language.)

Our headline ‘Inside the Juncker Buncker’ prompted others to recall favourite moments involving Mrs May’s new best friend President Jean-Claude Juncker, such as the time he turned up at an event wearing one brown shoe and one black, eventually being led off stage by a retinue including someone looking very like a nurse; his unique brand of bonhomie greeting European leaders; and his affection for a policeman on guard duty.

While we are about it, we thought we would remind you of the groovy moves of the Dancing Queen herself. The series starts at a South African school and continues at an event in Nairobi. This was mere rehearsal leading up to the main event, at the Conservative party conference last month.

A post-Downing Street appearance on Strictly surely awaits. On current form, an early exit appears unlikely.
