Good for Adam Peaty, getting his gold medal for the swimming. What a credit to Great Britain. He didn’t exactly belt out the national anthem though, did he? That said, and to give him his due, it must be pretty hard remembering the words with all those emotions going on.
All I wonder is, when are we going to get an athlete who really gets some welly behind the national anthem?
This is a generation of Olympians who have been drilled in feeling nothing but shame for the monarchy and for nationalism, through a school curriculum dictated by cultural Marxism. It’s almost as if young people feel ashamed to be British.
