Writing in the i newspaper, TCW’s Laura Perrins considers David Cameron – a reputation ruined by a revolution of the great ignored:
“It is only a moment ago David Cameron resigned as an MP because “he did not want to be a distraction from the backbenches’”.
Yet yesterday the ex-PM flung a hand grenade at the new Prime Minster, Theresa May, safely from the distance of his country pad in Chipping Norton.
According to a report in The Sunday Times, Mr Cameron blamed two key ministers, Mrs May and Philip Hammond, for failing to help him get a better deal from Angela Merkel.”
