I don’t like Donald Trump, I cannot abide Hillary Clinton, and I am glad I don’t have a vote in the US election so I do not have to make this terrible choice. But I also cannot abide hypocrisy and the stench emanating from Hillary fans makes my toddler’s nappy positively fragrant.
There they all are, in their Chanel two-pieces, clutching their pearls in one hand, smelling salts in the other. Oh, the horror, the absolute horror of it all: Trump caught on tape 10 years ago saying very crude things about women. Trump is “an insecure, morally ugly, man-child who thinks boasting about how he can get away with groping women ”because you’re a star” impresses people.” What a shocker! Tell me something I don’t know.
But for the social liberals to be decrying this conversation, which took place in private, just takes the biscuit. The language used was debased for sure, but the culture ushered in by the social liberals created this language and this objectification of women in the first place.
On the one hand they defend the ‘all of the sex all of the time’ moral-free-for-all. Don’t ever judge me when it comes to sex. But if someone is caught on tape using crude sexual language, it’s all, ‘please, not in front of the ladies’, my ears are burning. It’s Mary Whitehouse in a trouser suit.
You can watch this video and judge for yourself, but I knew long before this that Mr Trump was no Mr Darcy.
Not that the other chap, Billy Bush, is any Bingley, but I guess he is not running for President, so fair enough. The language leaves a lot to be desired, to say the least, but it was a private conversation. If all those Victorian feminists out there cannot guarantee to me that their sons have never used the offending p-word in conversation with other men, then they can shut the hell up.
Our culture no longer permits any special treatment for women. The feminists said women were not to be revered or put on a pedestal and or to be accorded any extra privileges, such as a place on the lifeboat, merely because they were women. Well, cultures like that produce men like Trump.
Where Trump is in trouble is where he boasts about behaviour that would constitute sexual assault. And that would make him unfit for any public office, least of all President.
I mean anyone who has sexually assaulted or raped women should not be President – not that that stopped Bill Clinton mind. I mean Bill Clinton carried out a sex act an impressionable White House intern, in the Oval Office no less. Goodness, if something like that happened, that would be horrendous.
And if someone, say, aided and abetted him in this – and forced the women to remain silent through threats, well that would definitely make you unfit to be President. Does anyone know of a person who fits this description? Ah, yes that would be Hillary.
The interesting thing about the video is Trump manages to keep his hands to himself. Billy Bush, in fact, eggs him on to give a hug to the women. Keeping one’s hands to oneself was definitely not one of Bill Clinton’s strong points. So the Hillary fans with their Hillary histrionics can hit the road. And you can bring your smelling salts with you.
