The feminists, armed with just their taxed tampons in one hand and their Polish nanny in the other, want us to stay in the EU. Of course they do. It is the EU that is most likely to push their ultra feminist agenda and it is EU mass migration that makes their world go around. So despite the fact that EU institutions are an ultra patriarchy, it is a patriarchy that serves their needs for now.
The middle-class feminists, in particular, have benefitted massively from the EU-fuelled increase in immigration that is its raison d’être. Without these hard working immigrants, who would clean their houses and mind their kids? Not the feminists, that’s for sure!
It is no wonder the feminists love their Polish nanny so much- she actually likes kids and the feminist mothers have more important things to do with their time than stay ‘trapped’ at home all day catering to their offspring’s needs.
And these are the feminists who have even be bothered to reproduce. So many prioritise the career to such a degree they just flat out say, I just can’t be bothered with the ankle bitters. If I have to move out of Zone 1 in London then this is a ‘sacrifice’ I just cannot make (feminists really believe this is a sacrifice). As such we have to import lots of women from EU countries (myself included) to prop up the British fertility rate. (You’re welcome).
If it was not for immigrants British fertility rates would be through the floor, but for now they are holding thanks to our fertile Eastern European sisters who, as I said before, actually like kids.
Finally there is also the EU agenda towards ‘equality’ on all things fabulous such as boardrooms, but not all things dangerous such as building sites. It is the EU that is most likely to impose quotas for Parliament, boardrooms and all the other quangos out there than need filling.
These days equality trumps efficiency and merit so this is an oblique way to promote women over more competent men. As I said before, if the women were just as good then you would not need the quota. This is probably one of the many reasons Britain has a productivity problem, and Osborne keeps missing his borrowing target (he needs to borrow ever more sums to fund the female dominated inefficient civil service). But hey, don’t let efficiency get in the way of an agenda!
The EU is such a good deal for the feminists that they are willing to tolerate the fact that it is a patriarchy. I have noticed that as more and more women enter Westminster (Labour ones through all-women short lists, also a form of legal discrimination against men) more and more power ebbs to Brussels. This is how the patriarchy works.
Men hold the top five positions in the EU. It is not a question of who is the most visible – you have to follow the power and once you do that you realise it is held by men with foreign accents.
Now I don’t have a problem with the patriarchy but I do have a problem with being ruled by foreign elite. That is even worse than being ruled by a posh boys elite in Westminster. It seems that for the feminists, it is price worth paying.
