The ever-modernising, fanatically feminist Girl Guides have come up with another wizard wheeze – a ‘period poverty’ badge.
Youngsters will be encouraged to discuss menstruation at meetings which ‘should be a safe space for girls to share their experiences and talk freely without feeling judged or embarrassed’.
Should make for some interesting discussions around the campfire at certain times of the month.
But how will this tamponfest fit in with the Guides’ transgender reforms?
Will boys, or those identifying as boys, be allowed into the pow-wows? Can they sport Period Poverty alongside some of the other bonkers subjects deemed worthy of a badge on the uniform?
If not, won’t this be transphobic?
