Leftie lunacy: Labour’s bearded ladies

As if women didn’t have a hard enough time in Jeremy Corbyn’s rough, tough Labour Party, things have just got a whole lot more problematic for the Leftie sisterhood.

Six places on the party’s regional youth board (that sounds ominous in itself) and five on the party’s national committee have been reserved for self-defining women – in other words lads who see themselves as lasses.

Whilst a triumph for the transgender troops, this also of course adds momentum to the misogynists. Labour has found a very modern way of putting those pesky laydeez back where they belong – you can only be a woman if you are already a man.
