Jeremy Corbyn has refused to condemn the strikes making life misery for legions of commuters on the Southern network.
The 300,000 people who are missing their children’s bedtime or being stopped from working are justifiably furious with the striking unionists, but is our self-styled people’s politician on the people’s side? Is he heck.
Of course, this may have something to do with the £35,000 bung he received from the transport unions in the summer. Just last week, he was pictured at the Aslef Christmas party smiling away with union bosses.
The Islington bubble continues to alienate.
