A ‘top’ charity has jumped on the bandwagon of outrage surrounding the ‘child’ migrants being brought over from Calais.
TACT, the UK’s largest fostering and adoption charity, falsely assumed that one of the ‘children’ was a Home Office interpreter. Naturally, Twitter went wild, with sleb virtue-signallers from crisp merchant Gary Lineker to lefty ‘comic’ David Schneider and feminist Caroline Criado-Perez.
However, upon further investigation, the person in question turned out NOT to be an interpreter. TACT duly issued a non-apology with “regret any concern caused”.
Now the ‘children’ have landed, will the now silent lefty Twitterati give them a space on the sofa?
