Labour has called for another general election, despite being streets behind the Tories in the polls.
Senior Corbynista Jon Trickett yesterday called for a fresh election, saying that it was “crucial, given the instability caused by the Brexit vote” – never mind the instability at the top of the Labour Party.
How on earth can Labour think it is ready to fight an election when it is eight points behind the Tories and has just triggered the start of its own bloody leadership contest?
Does the people’s party have a death wish?
