It’s been a while, but Labour MP David Lammy is back in the spotlight for his services to Remainiac Wrecking.
He now says that triggering Article 50 is against his “conscience” because his constituents voted to Remain. On this logic, he must accept that most MPs must vote to get the exit ball rolling because that’s what their constituents want.
He then waffles on about the irrelevant and unproven “spike in hate crime” as some kind of justification for his sanctimonious position.
Mr Lammy is MP for Tottenham in North London. Is he seriously suggesting – like the equally irritating Nicola Sturgeon – that the UK should become a patchwork quilt, with a few bits inside the EU and the rest making a break for freedom?
