A school has banned whistles being blown at the end of playtime for fear that this ‘aggressive’ noise scares children.
Playtime at the Milton Keynes primary school will instead end when teachers silently raise their hands.
Ironically, this story came to light thanks to a whistleblowing teaching assistant who aired her displeasure at the barmy new practice.
We think it is time to blow the whistle on soppy teachers who would wrap childhood in cotton wool.
