Schools should consider adopting ‘gender-neutral’ toilets, changing rooms and uniforms to make transgender pupils feel more comfortable.
The chair of the ATL’s equality and diversity committee said that gender fluidity needs to be brought into everyday school life because teachers lack confidence in dealing with such matters.
One might also conclude that parents lack confidence in putting their offspring in the hands of people so devoid of good sense.
