Only former London Mayor and Corbyn acolyte, Red Ken Livingstone would have the face to stand by his comment that a hedge fund donation to a Labour’s Dan Jarvis MP (and their only leadership hope) was like “Jimmy Savile funding a children’s group“.
In Ken’s militant Marxist eyes, Dan Jarvis’s acceptance of the cash showed he was not “genuinely Labour”. So that’s all right then. Venezuela’s former president – and Ken’s hero – Hugo Chavez, who brought Venezuela to its knees, of course must have been.
The Savile slur was branded “disgusting” by one Labour MP. Former Home Secretary Alan Johnson said he should “keep his trap shut”. In his dreams we fear – as long as the BBC keeps providing the execrable Ken with the oxygen he needs to carry on slandering.
