Usually a cradle of PC academia, Oxford University has been accused of racism after ‘belittling’ African history compared to British history.
A prize for the best essay on British history was given as £500, whereas the similar competition on African history was only rewarded with £75 – a scandalous difference that was noticed by a student on a Facebook group called ‘Race Matters’.
However, the university soon bounced back from this incident – with the ‘equality and diversity unit’ enhancing their PC credentials by issuing guidance warning staff that not looking a student in the eye was ‘racist’.
And people wonder why society’s ‘elite’ are so out of touch with ordinary folk.
