Lefty Lunacy: Pro-EU peer’s Remain-fuelled rant sinks without a trace

A pro-EU member of the House of Lords, Patience Wheatcroft, has narrowly avoided a mutiny on a cruise ship.

No, she didn’t attempt to seize control of the ship, but she instead lectured passengers on why she will try and overturn Brexit.

You do hear us correctly, dear reader – a member of the unelected House of Lords is seeking to overturn the will of the British people in the very purest form of democracy.

No wonder she was jeered and heckled by disgruntled passengers – we may have jettisoned Brussels’ political flotsam, but sadly some jetsam remains on our side of the Channel.
