The BBC has been attacked as ‘unbelievably racist’ for asking the question: “Black people and fried chicken – is there any truth in it?” for a short video for Black History Month.
Instead of reflecting on the fact that the video contained black men and women laughing off and disproving the stereotype, the Twittersphere clearly couldn’t find its sense of humour.
Auntie was blasted for being “offensive”, “wrong” and – yes – “unbelievably racist”, and instead of standing up to this nonsense….quickly airbrushed the ‘offensive’ question.
No wonder the Beeb is so scared to broadcast impartial news if they are sent packing by a couple of stroppy teenage warriors.
